LEGO has finally dropped its long-awaited additions to the LEGO Super Mario line, including the first Donkey Kong-themed sets as well as the huge Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion set..
Six new sets in total between Donkey Kong and Super Mario have launched with the biggest DK set coming in at 1,157 pieces with the Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride, as well as the 1,321-piece Super Mario Dry Bowser Castle Battle set.
The Dry Bowser Castle kit is a particularly exciting one for Mario and LEGO fans, sporting an opening Bowser-jaw-shaped entrance, a crane to rescue the Purple Toad from the trap and topple Dry Bowser, flippers to defeat the Bone Piranha Plant and Bone Goomba, a Magmaargh attack function, gym, secret entrance, secret strategy room, Key Block and a Treasure Chest Block.
