Pokémon Legends Z-A Has Been Announced For A 2025 Launch On Switch

Wow!

This morning saw the arrival of a brand-new Pokémon Presents showcase, giving fans an update on a number of Pokémon projects from the current mainline entries to Pokémon GO, Pokémon Sleep, Masters EX and plenty more.

As if by some miracle, we did also get a new Pokémon video game announcement (that weird Pokémon TCG app aside) and it happens to be an actual, new Pokémon Legends title.

While we didn’t see much in terms of actual game content, it’s set within the Kalos region of the 6th-gen Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games, and the short official description reads, ” A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.”

Interestingly, this one’s not coming out until 2025 (for a “simultaneous worldwide” launch) with the only platform announced so far being the Switch, but based on ever-growing speculation there’s a very good chance we’ll see this also drop on Nintendo’s next major console.
