Update: Hot off of pre-registrations kicking off, The Pokemon Company has now revealed the launch date for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The app is set to arrive on Android and iOS devices starting October 30th, 2024.

Original Story: After being announced during a Pokémon Presents showcase back in February, pre-registrations for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket have now gone live on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store, suggesting a release may not be all that far away (thanks Vooks for bringing this to our attention!).
In case you missed it earlier, Pokémon TCG Pocket is an upcoming new free-to-play mobile app that’ll simulate opening packets of Pokémon cards and collecting them and trading with friends as well as offer a “streamlined” version of playing the actual TCG.
The game will also different virtual card treatments including “Immersive” cards unique to the app that let players see even more of the worlds within the card art, and while the exact mechanics of buying packs in-app wasn’t made clear, we do know that users will get two free packs to open every day.
