Fresh off the reveal (finally) of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo has announced a Direct in which you’d assume they do a deep dive on the new console and some of the games coming to it at launch.
As confirmed right at the end of the reveal trailer, there will be a special Nintendo Switch 2 Direct on the 2nd of April 2025.
The Direct comes right before a series of events around the world in which registered attendees will be able to go hands-on with the new console. You can imagine it will then be released soon after. Exciting times!
The console is exactly as the leaks suggested, bigger, with a new kickstand, redesigned Joy-Cons and an updated dock.
We don’t know anything (officially) about the internals of the device yet, which we would imagine would be a key feature of the direct in just a couple of months!
Perhaps so too will be a new Mario Kart game teased in the reveal trailer.
