Life Is Strange 2 Now Has A Release Date

It’s been announced that the first episode of Life is Strange 2 is only a few months away and is expected to launch on September 27, 2018.

The tweet below confirms this date and the game’s title, which has simply bolted on a “2” to differentiate it from the beloved original, as well as the prequel ‘Before the Storm’. The tweet also notes that more will be learned about the game in August, suggesting we’ll see the game at GamesCom.

Of course, you don’t have to wait long for a taste of more from Dontnod’s delightful universe they’re building as The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit arrives next week for free. It’s a short, standalone prequel featuring a 10-year old Chris before we’re expected to see him in the true sequel in September.
