Valve took to Twitter earlier this morning to properly reveal Half-Life: Alyx, which is a full-length VR game that will release in March, 2020.
The game will be set between Half-Life 1 & 2 and follows Alyx Vance and her father Eli. Geoff Keighley has already played through the game several times and says that it took around 15 hours, which definitely means that it’s a fully-fledged game.
The trailer lasts about two minutes and showcases a number of locations and action-packed gameplay.
As far as compatible hardware, you’ll need a Valve Index, Oculus Rift, Vive or Oculus Quest (using link with a high-end PC). If you’re getting a Valve Index, you’ll get the game for free.
