Exactly a year ago, a game called Black Myth: Wukong was announced to be in development by Chinese studio, Game Science Studio.
Today, a 13 minute trailer dropped for the game showcasing a major boss fight as well as a bunch of quick snippets of other boss fights in the game and it still looks absolutely phenomenal. Like, so good that I’ll go out on a limb and say that it probably looks better than any other game in development.
The game will run in 4K at 60FPS thanks to Nvidia DLSS and it’ll also launch with ray-tracing. The fact that the game is being heavily promoted by Nvidia bodes well. As of right now, I believe it’s still only confirmed for a PC release, but I’m guessing we’ll see it on consoles at some point. There’s no release window set, but it looks to be fairly far along given what we’ve seen today.
The game is an action-RPG which looks like it’ll channel the difficulty of a Souls game. I’m personally hoping that it’s not too brutal as there’s no way that I won’t be playing this.
