Much like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights received a story trailer at this morning’s DC Fandome.
It had already been confirmed that the game, which won’t feature Batman as a playable character, would adapt the Court of Owls graphic novels, but we didn’t quite expect it to lean into the horror vibe quite so hard. Based on this three-minute peek, it’s very eerie.
Throughout the trailer, we get glimpses at the secret society running Gotham from behind the scenes while seeing the game’s four heroes in action.
There’s still no release date set for Gotham Knights, though the trailer notes it’s still expected for 2022.
