Get A Good Look At Monster Hunter Rise’s New Visual Features In The PC Launch Trailer

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise is headed to PC next week on January 12, and the publisher has just released a special launch trailer that shows off some interesting new visual features for the game’s PC version.

New visual filters have been added that can be applied to general gameplay to give the game a stark new look. These include black and white, sepia, something called ‘Japanese-style’, ‘Warring Lands-style’, as well as filmic versions of the black and white and sepia options.

While we can’t see everyone using these full-screen filters during their entire Monster Hunter Rise experience, they’re still an interesting enough addition. Elsewhere the PC release of Rise has the obvious advantages over the original Switch release including Ultrawide and 4K support, high resolution textures, an uncapped framerate and granular tweaking options for visual effects.
