Ubisoft Will No Longer Release Content For Ghost Recon Breakpoint

After being on the market for only a few years, Ubisoft announced this morning that it would discontinue its support for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The publisher stated its previous four months of content would, in fact, be the game’s last.

The game was poorly received critically and, most recently, was made the stage for Ubisoft’s venture into NFTs through Quartz which, according to a GamesIndustry.biz post, is said to continue through other titles even as Breakpoint is moonlit.

In a heartfelt farewell, the team has confirmed that, despite the content map being concluded, the servers for Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be maintained into the future.

“We will continue to maintain our servers for both Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint,” said Ubisoft. “We truly hope you will continue to enjoy the game and have fun playing in solo or co-op with your friends.”
