Fortnite’s V24.20 update has landed, bringing with it some balance changes, bug fixes and new additions, but more importantly – Eren, Mikasa and Levi from Attack on Titan have made their debut in the game along with some exciting new equipment.
The Eren Jaeger Outfit is available in Fortnite‘s Battle Pass alongside a spray, back bling, emote and pickaxe, and the Mikasa Ackermann and Captain Levi outfits are available to purchase in the game’s Item Shop.
Meanwhile the ODM Gear and Thunder Spears will both be retrievable in-game on the ground or in chests and “Scout Regiment Footlockers” with the ODM Gear allowing players to grapple in the air and land strikes on opponents below and boost right back into the air to continue grappling, hovering or attacking. The Thunder Spears are powerful rocket-like weapons that detonate for damaging effect.
The Jaeger’s Family Basement has also been added to the Island, in a secret location in Anvil Square. Probably best of all is the “Scowling Levi Emoticon” which can be unlocked along with the Courageous Mikasa Spray as part of an upcoming Week 5 Quest:

BALANCE CHANGES
- Unvaulted the Port-A-Bunker in Zero Build.
- Introduced a Rare-rarity Kinetic Blade. With identical damage to the Epic Kinetic Blade, this Rare counterpart has only two Kinetic Dash charges. Rare Kinetic Blades can be found from the ground and Kinetic Blade stands.
- Reduced the max headshot damage of the Mythic Havoc Pump Shotgun.
- Reduced the accuracy and hipfire rate of the Mythic Overclocked Pulse Rifle.
- In Trios and Squads, reduced the number of Mythic Overclocked Pulse Rifles dropped by capturing a rifting-in POI.
- In Trios and Squads, reduced the number of Mythic Havoc Pump Shotguns found inside Vaults.
COMPETITIVE NOTES
- Thunder Spears are not included in Arena or tournaments.
- Dirt Bikes are not included in Arena or tournaments.
MAJOR BUG FIXES
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to retain the healing effect of hot springs.
- Fixed an issue involving rebooted players sometimes appearing invisible to teammates.
