As seen on Gematsu, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation has revealed that SEGA is going to release remastered versions of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 for the PlayStation 4.
The remasters will obviously boast improved framerates and resolution, though there’s currently only a release schedule for Japan.
- Yakuza 3 will release on August 9 for 3,990 yen and includes a soundtrack download code
- Yakuza 4 is expected in fall 2018
- Yakuza 5 is expected in Spring 2019
This is obviously great news for series fans who’ve long hoped for remasters to come along. Hopefully, news of a local release trickles through sooner than later.
