Blizzard has announced at Blizzcon that Overwatch 2 is on the way. It’s coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Overwatch 2 will feature cooperative story missions and hero missions which will include the entire roster of characters that we’ve come to know and love with deep customisation.
The game will include all of the original 31 heroes, with brand new looks, but will also introduce new heroes as the game goes on. Interestingly enough, all of these new heroes that are introduced in Overwatch 2 will also be introduced in the original Overwatch.
A brand new mode called Push will see two teams competing to make a robot to get to their opponents side and win the game.
Similarly, new maps that are introduced into Overwatch 2 (including the ones that launch alongside the game) will also come to the original Overwatch. Overwatch 2 players will also be able to play with gamers that are playing the original Overwatch.
