After the news that Persona 5 Royal launched almost a week early in Australia, more publishers have followed suit, choosing to launch their games early today in stores.
All four of these games were due to release on Friday, March 27th. These games include Dirt Rally 2.0 GOTY Edition, Saints Row IV: Reelected on Nintendo Switch, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 on all platforms, La Mulana 1&2 Hidden Treasures EDT on Nintendo Switch and Gigantosaurus on Nintendo Switch.

We’ve reached out to EB Games as well as all of the publishers involved to try and find out if this will be a similar case going forward for game releases in Australia. It’s clear that both publishers and retailers want to beat out possible lock downs that are going to hit Australia, but these have not been confirmed to include shopping centres as of yet.
