Activison’s CEO spoke about current state of the company during the COVID-19 pandemic taking over the world at the moment.
He confirmed that Call Of Duty 2020 “already looks great” and is “on track for release later this year” He also spoke about the fact that a new season of content for Modern Warfare and Warzone is set to release between April and June as well as new content and a new season for Call Of Duty mobile.
Speaking about Call Of Duty: Warzone, he spoke about the fact that it’s become an important part in the Call of Duty ecosystem and that it will continue to be updated. In saying that, he did say that Modern Warfare and Warzone were built to be connected, so it’s unclear if we’ll see a new version released alongside the 2020 Call of duty game.
Rumours about the 2020 Call of Duty game have suggested that it is set within the Black Ops universe and will take place during the Cold War era. Call Of Duty games are typically revealed in May, so we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer.
