As we get closer and closer to PS5 preorders going live, there’s two things you can do to make sure you’re in the best possible position to preorder once they go live.
The first is to make sure you’re a member of our PS5 Facebook Group (as that’ll be the first place we put information after it hits our site). Obviously, we’ll let you know right on the site as well as soon as preoders go live.
The second is to make sure that you’ve registered an interest with the below Australian retailers, as they’ll be sending out information as soon as preorders go live with their respective stores. O

This generation is a little bit different to those in the past. With the PS4/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch and generations prior, retailers were taking preorders as soon as those consoles were announced (even before pricing and launch date had been revealed).
Things are a little bit different this year for obvious reasons, and it’s clear that neither Sony/Microsoft as well as retailers want gamers preordering before they’ve got a clear indication of stock levels.
