Capcom took to the TGS stage to reveal some more information about Resident Evil Village. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a release date for the game (although we do know that it’s coming in 2021, but the largest piece of information was the fact that Capcom is trying to bring the game to PS4 and Xbox One.
They didn’t make any promises, but they did say that they were trying to make it happen to ensure that as many Resident Evil Village fans can enjoy the game as possible. So far, the game is confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
Capcom also said that they’d be celebrating 25 years of Resident Evil next year starting on March 22nd, 2021. They didn’t go into too much detail about what this means or what we’ll get to see during the celebration.
