Seriously..
Insomniac announced late last week that Peter Parker would have a new face model for Spider-Man: Remastered (and beyond). Despite it being a surprise, most gamers weren’t too phased with it, but there’s obviously a select group that don’t want Spider-Man being messed with.
Bryan Intihar, the Creative Director at Insomniac Games initially Tweeted “Today’s news about the new Peter Market face model has surprised some of you and we at Insomniac totally understand your reaction.. Heck, it even took me awhile to get used to Peter’s new look. We care as much about your attachment to him, so please know we didn’t make this change/decision lightly”.
Just a few days later, Intihar had obviously had enough of the threats from fans, Tweeting out the below.
To our Spidey fans: I totally appreciate your passion, but sending me threatening notes that you will “HUNT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL FIND YOU! YOU FIX THIS NOW!” isn’t cool. With what’s happening in today’s world, let’s be a force for good and be respectful of each other. Thank you.
