Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Just Got Its First Free Map

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War has launched a brand new content update this week and it’s the bomb. Right now, you can play the brand new multiplayer map Nuketown ’84. According to developers, Nuketown ’84 is the sister site to Black Ops (2010)’s beloved Nuketown map, “This place has been decommissioned and abandoned for 30 years. Travellers and people that want to escape come, and they’re escaping that harsh world, that backdrop of the Cold War“.

You can watch the trailer for the new map below:

To celebrate the new addition, anybody who logs in from now until December 4th can grab the Nuketown ’84 weapons pack, absolutely free. It contains a brand new ‘Last Stop’ Epic Shotgun Blueprint, as well as six weapon charms, a ‘Test Subjects’ sticker and more thematic loot for your loadout. Log in now and you’ll find that there is also a week-long double XP and double weapons XP event, perfect for those of us who are still chasing first prestige status.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War is available now on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Battlenet. Nuketown ’84 is free to all players, regardless of their edition of the game.
