Insomniac Games has revealed the most powerful weapon in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the RYNO 8 and surprisingly it opens up portals to some of PlayStation’s other games.
Insomniac started teasing the collaboration earlier today on Twitter, showcasing the worlds of Uncharted, Sly Cooper, Sunset Overdrive and Horizon Zero Dawn coming into the world of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
They then released a trailer that showed a bunch of items and enemies from other PlayStation games dropping into the world thanks to the new Ryno 8 weapon. The most impressive one is without doubt Horizon Zero Dawn’s Ripsaw which literally drops right onto a bunch of enemies and takes up a bunch of the screen.

We don’t know exactly how many different franchises there are that can come through those rifts, but Insomniac said on Resetera that “we didn’t show everything that can come through those rifts’.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is out this Friday exclusively for PS5. The cheapest price is currently $98 on Amazon.
