Out of nowhere, we’ve just had confirmation of at least one classic PS1 game coming to the new PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription tier that will include newly-added trophies.
On Twitter, Bend Studio (Days Gone, Uncharted: Golden Abyss) shared the news that one of its oldest titles, the beloved Syphon Filter, will include trophies when it arrives on the service in June.

Syphon Filter is just one of a handful of classic PlayStation games already announced as headed to PS+ Deluxe when it launches, so it’ll be interesting to see if trophy support is a global requirement for getting games on the service or if they’re only being added to select titles. We’ll be sure to know more soon.
