The rumours reported earlier in the week that suggested Lies of P might be one of the next big titles Xbox is banking on for its Game Pass service next year weren’t a lie.
The game, which looks like Bloodborne set within the world of Pinocchio, was confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass during this morning’s Opening Night Live alongside a brilliant gameplay trailer. The game isn’t exactly a dark retelling of Disney’s animation feature, it instead simply uses the world and setting for its grim fantasy.
As one of the few games that has a presence at Xbox’s booth at Gamescom, which includes a playable demo, it seemed inevitable that the game would come to the publisher’s subscription service.
Alongside Xbox Series X/S, Lies of P is also releasing on PC and PlayStation 5 sometime next year.
