Here’s Almost 45 Minutes Of Hogwarts Legacy Character Customisation, Exploration And Combat

A huge gameplay showcase!

Earlier in the week we posted that a gameplay showcase was set to premiere for Hogwarts Legacy, but what we didn’t expect to see was a nearly hour-long presentation featuring extensive amounts of in-game footage from the upcoming title.

The Hogwarts Legacy Gameplay Showcase features Game Director Alan Tew, Senior Environment Artist Boston Madsen, Community Manager Chandler Wood and special guest Community Host James “XpectoGO” Whitehead chatting about the game and its production while showing off real-time gameplay.

The presentation gives us our best looks yet at the robust and diverse character customisation, some glimpses into key areas of Hogwarts itself including the beautiful Hufflepuff common room, a ton of UI including the Wizard’s Field Guide menu system and finally an introduction to Wizard combat. There’s a heap of info to chew over so it’s well worth watching through the entire showcase if you’re someone who’s keen to get their hands on the game:

All said, Hogwarts Legacy is looking mightily impressive and there’s a good chance it’s going to live up to the lofty expectations of Harry Potter fans when it drops on February 10, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Amazon has the cheapest pre-order at $74.90 for PS4, Xbox One and Switch or $79.90 for PS5 and Xbox Series X with free shipping.
