Dead Space 2020

Here’s The Dead Space Remake’s Impressive First 18 Minutes Of Gameplay

'Tis the season for spooky sci-fi!

Fans of creepy survival horror video games set aboard claustrophobic interstellar facilities are eating good at the moment, with the just-released (and pretty good, if you ask us) The Callisto Protocol out in the world and the upcoming ground-up remake of Dead Space to look forward to in the new year.

For those of us eagerly awaiting the latter, IGN has secured a very exciting bit of footage for its “IGN First” feature on the game, showcasing the first 18 minutes of the game in raw gameplay. It’s impressive stuff, highlighting overhauls to the game’s cutscenes with new content and dialogue, and of course the massively improved character models, lighting, effects, environments and just about everything else.
