It’s long been the subject of leaks and rumours thanks to sneaky modders finding their way into as-yet-unheard of locations and game files, but it’s now official – Elden Ring is getting a free ‘Colosseum’ update that adds a variety of new PvP modes, and it’s coming today!
The nature of the modes isn’t described in the announcement trailer, but it looks as though players will be able to take each other on in a variety of formats including 3-a-side team combat. The update is due for release on December 7 globally, which should mean it drops for Aussies at some point today or very early tomorrow.

The Colosseums of Limgrave, Leyndell and Caelid will open their gates, allowing players to engage in battles such as duels, free-for-alls and team fights.
