Here’s something unexpected – it seems as though PlayStation 4 consoles are making a comeback at Aussie retailers with a handful of shops restocking the last-generation hardware right before Christmas.
Now, they’re not exactly going for the kinds of bargain basement prices that they have in the past, more than likely due to the same circumstances that are keeping current-gen hardware prices sky-high. Currently it’ll set you back a full $439 for a 500 GB PlayStation 4 Slim console.
If you’re interested, you can pick them up from the below retailers:
- Amazon – PlayStation 4 500GB Slim Console – $439 with free shipping
- JB Hi-Fi – PlayStation 4 500GB Slim Console – $439
- EB Games – PlayStation 4 500GB Slim Console – $439
- The Gamesmen – PlayStation 4 500GB Slim Console – $439
- Big W – PlayStation 4 500GB Slim Console – $429
While there’s definitely still a market out there for a cheaper alternative to the PlayStation 5, we’re sure these would’ve come in greater handy last holidays where PS5 console stock was still in incredibly short supply. These days, it’s not overly difficult to get a hold of one in stores.
If you’re still looking, you should be able to pick up a PS5 at any of the below:
Amazon: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
JB Hi-Fi: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
The Good Guys: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
Harvey Norman: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
EB Games: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
Big W: Digital Console | Disc Console | God of War Ragnarök Bundle
