Dead Space Remake

The Dead Space Remake’s Trophies Suggest It Might Have A New Ending

In space, nobody can see your platinum trophies.

Trophy and achievement tracking portal, Exophase, recently posted the full list of trophies that players will be able to earn in the upcoming Dead Space remake, leading curious fans to discover that the remake may, in fact, contain some form of new ending.

You can look at the full trophy list here if you don’t mind the potential of seeing major spoilers, but the important one comes by way of a Silver rarity trophy right down the end, which we won’t name or show here but comes with the descriptor of “See the alternate ending on any difficulty mode.”

This is noteworthy because, as VGC has pointed out here, the original Dead Space did not have multiple endings. Which leads us to believe that there may in fact be all-new ending content of some description to be found by dedicated players in the remake. With the game set to hit shelves soon enough and reviews more than likely on the way, we may well get to the bottom of this mystery soon enough.
