Thunderful has announced the latest entry in its excellent SteamWorld franchise, once again switching up genres with a unique and charming-looking new title in SteamWorld Build.
Coming off the back of forays into platforming, tactics and role-playing, SteamWorld Build is taking the series into sim/management territory and mixing it with dungeon crawling action in its distinct steampunk-meets-wild-west setting.
Players will run a mining town populated by steambot citizens, building new facilities and expanding residential diversity in order to delve deeper into the dangerous mines below the town to acquire more resources in what looks like an incredibly addictive gameplay cycle.
