You Can Play PlayStation Online Multiplayer For Free This Weekend

It's the Festival of Play!

PlayStation’s Festival of Play event is on right now, bringing with it new game trials, a massive PlayStation Store sale, new PlayStation Stars campaigns and a heap more.

You can read about all the activity on the PlayStation Blog, but one of the biggest highlights is a free PlayStation Multiplayer Weekend happening this weekend across February 18th and 19th.

For the two days, everyone will be able to play online multiplayer modes across PS5 and PS4 games without needing a PlayStation Plus subscription.

During this time, PlayStation will also be holding some special online tournaments across games like FIFA 23, NBA 2K23 and Guilty Gear, meaning that even players without active subscriptions will be able to participate.

It’s a great time to be a PlayStation Plus member though, especially in the upgraded Extra/Deluxe tiers, with February’s slate of titles added to the subscriptions including some massive titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Outriders, The Quarry, Resident Evil 7 and banger Classics like The Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms 2. You can check out the full list of added titles below.
