This morning saw a huge new PlayStation Showcase with over an hour of reveals, updates and gorgeous trailers.
One such beautiful reveal was Sword of the Sea, a new game from the folks behind Journey, ABZU and the Pathless at Giant Squid. It looks like it’ll capture a lot of the same spirit as their other work, particularly Journey.
Giant Squid says Sword of the Sea is their most ambitious game to date, taking places across a world where the terrain is in constant motion, and giving them the “Hoversword” as their tool to navigate it. Think Journey by way of SSX or Tony Hawk.
Sword of the Sea is coming to PS5 and PC at an unannounced date. Check out the gorgeous debut trailer:
