Assassin’s Creed Mirage Has Gone Gold And Had Its Release Date Moved Up By A Week

I can't believe my eyes!

In an industry that’s becoming so prone to delays, it’s incredibly rare to see a game’s developed so streamlined that it manages to move its release date forward.

But that’s what has happened with Assassin’s Creed Mirage which, along with wrapping development and going gold, has moved up from its previously confirmed date of October 12 to October 5, 2023.

Despite not being the lead creator on Mirage, the news was revealed on Twitter by Ubisoft Montreal. Mirage is being headed up by Ubisoft Bordeaux, whose previous work on the franchise includes the Wrath of the Druids expansion pack for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is seeking to recapture the focus on stealth that made the original games so popular, and it certainly seemed on track to achieve that goal based on our hands-off preview that we got to see at Summer Game Fest.
