During this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 Showcase, Call of Duty fans finally got their first, proper look at gameplay from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s single-player campaign.
The Campaign Premiere trailer shows off a whole nine minutes of gameplay from the very first level in the game, titled Operation 627. In it, we see Alpha Team make an entrance via sea to an enemy complex, initially going in quietly before things get appropriately loud and bombastic and we see them breach a prison complex. It’s all very nice-looking and very Call of Duty, if that’s what you were hoping for.
Fans can expect some cool stuff from Modern Warfare 3, including new “Open Combat” missions in the campaign that offer more freedom than ever, an open-world Zombies mode and more.
