WB Games and NetherRealm have just a dropped a lengthy, live-action commercial for their upcoming sequel/reboot Mortal Kombat 1, which features the incredible Dave Bautista and knowingly calls back to a classic ad for the original Mortal Kombat.
If everyday people yelling “MORTAL KOMBAAAT” in the streets incites any kind of memory in you, then you probably know exactly which video I’m talking about (and if not, it’s this one). The camera cuts, the crowds, the iconic tune, it’s a great way to showcase what Mortal Kombat 1 is aiming to be for the series – a fresh start that pays respect to what came before it while delivering something bigger and better than ever.
