Adidas has announced a new collaboration with PlayStation and Insomniac on a range of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 themed gear including clothing, sports gear and sneakers – in particular these sick-looking Ultra 4D shoes that show Peter Parker’s suit in the game being taken over by the Symbiote.
Here’s what Marvel has to say about the sneakers in its announcement:
“Spidey-Senses tingling? Adidas is coming together with Marvel, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Insomniac Games to reveal the adidas Peter Parker Advanced Suit and Venom collection, featured in the latest installment of Marvel’s franchise video game series, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, releasing on October 20 for the PlayStation 5 console.
“The new collection depicts the moment Peter Parker’s Advanced Suit is overtaken by the Venom symbiote. The collection features a variety of training footwear and apparel including Ultraboost J and Ultra 4D sneakers, the Adizero 12.0 football cleat, sweatshirts, compression tights, and more made for gamers and athletes alike. Additionally, be sure to look for adidas-branded products featured in-game on some of the citizens throughout Marvel’s New York.”
When Do The Adidas Ultra 4D Spider-Man 2 Sneakers Release?
The Peter Parker Advanced Suit and Venom collection will be available to purchase from October 20 via the adidas app, online, in stores, and in selected retailers.
Will The Adidas Ultra 4D Spider-Man 2 Sneakers Be Available In Australia?
We don’t know yet! But we’ll update you when/if local availability is confirmed.
How Much Will The The Adidas Ultra 4D Spider-Man 2 Sneakers Cost?
A pair of these puppies will set you back $220 USD (approximately $350 AUD), although given the Ultra 4D retails for at least $400 AUD locally expect these to be reflective of that if they launch in Australia.
