Here’s A New 20-Minute Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Deep Dive Video

Killer.

Rocksteady and WB Games recently revealed a new video series set to take eager fans in-depth into the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which hasn’t had the best run this year after a lukewarm reception to its PlayStation State of Play showing and subsequent delay into next year.

Now though, the studio seems keen to show players what it’s been cooking and so the first episode of Suicide Squad Insider has dropped with almost 20 minutes of developer insight into the game’s story and gameplay, along with brand-new gameplay footage and more. Pre-orders have also opened today, reaffirming that the game is on track for its February 2nd, 2024 release date.

Feel more with PS5. Beyond the everyday. Beyond extraordinary. Even beyond imagination. Feel it now.

The video starts with the team explaining how it came to find the tone of the game’s story and what sets it apart from the Arkham games, before jumping into an early mission with the Squad behind enemy lines in Metropolis – which is apparently double the size of Gotham in Arkham City. We see them exploring the Hall of Justice and taking a break to steal whatever isn’t (or is) nailed down and thus lifting a few iconic Justice League gadgets for their own, before seeing first-hand what’s happening in Metropolis and with the Justice League.

While the jury is still out out how “live service” type elements will factor into the game, this look at the personality and fun of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feels like a positive step as Rockstar shows off freedom of movement throughout the city and the personality of the Squad themselves in both cutscenes and gameplay.
