Square Enix has released a brand-new recap video for Final Fantasy VII Remake ahead of the release of the follow-up Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which launches on February 29th next year. The video, which will also be included in the game for players to catch up before they start, is narrated by none other than Red XIII and wraps up events in a tight five minutes.

Aside from the recap video, Square Enix has also released a handful of new information and screenshots, including some iconic new artwork featuring Aerith Gainsborough re-done from its Remake form, with her now looking out at the Highwind airship. We’re still yet to see its captain, Cid, but it seems all but given we will.
A new summon, Kujata, has also been shared along with new details on the game’s difficulty options, which now include something called “Dynamic” which will offer more granular customisation and seemingly adjust based on how players are faring in the game.
