One much-appreciated update was a brand-new look at Team Ninja’s PS5-exclusive Rise of the Ronin, which also secured a release date of March 22nd, 2024.
The game, which is placed to be an open world action RPG set in Japan during the 19th century, with a big focus on combat not unlike the studio’s previous efforts in Nioh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Pre-orders for the game will open on December 14th. Take a look at the new trailer below:
“Japan at the end of the 19th century was characterized by the fall of the Tokugawa Shogunate, a period of oppression and stagnation. Explore the vast world of late-Edo period Japan by horse and glider, while battling foes using a wide range of weapons and equipment – melee weapons like swords and spears, as well as ranged weapons like firearms and thrown weapons.”
