LG has announced that after many requests, the 48″ LG OLED CX is coming to Australia in September. Those that wish to express interest for the model can do so HERE, but a price has not yet been confirmed locally.
The 48″ model has been long-awaited due to the fact that it supports NVIDIA G-Sync making it the perfect gaming monitor. It also has HDMI 2.1 ports meaning it will make the perfect tv/monitor for gaming on the PS5/Xbox Series X, with the ability to display 4K imagery at up to 120FPS. The CX range has a super low response time, Dolby Vision and HDR 10.
The CX OLED also exists in 55″, 65″, 77″ and 88″ variations. The 48″ model was not originally set to come to Australia after retailers didn’t show an interest in stocking it. It’s unclear at this point if LG will be selling it directly in Australia.
We reviewed the 65″ model and said: If you’re looking for a TV to last you the next five years and one that is compatible with the PS5/Xbox Series X, then you’re going to be hard pressed to find one better than the LG CX OLED. The blacks are deep, the colours are vibrant and the extra features go a long way to making this feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.
