After more than 12 years, the Age of Empires franchise is back. In probably the biggest announcement of Gamescom, it’s been revealed that Age of Empires 4 is being developed by Relic Entertainment. This is the studio behind Company of Heroes and Dawn of War.
Microsoft didn’t reveal a whole lot about the game, except for a short hype building trailer which you can watch below. There’s also no release date, but you’d expect that it’s possibly late 2018 or early 2019.
