Microsoft has today announced that the X0 conference is returning. X0 is a celebration of all things Xbox (similar to the PlayStation Experience for PlayStation fans).
It’s taking place on November 10th and 11th in Mexico City and Phil Spencer is promising that a bunch of first party and third party game announcements will be taking place.
This is the first X0 conference to take place in over 10 years. The last one that took place in 2006 included the below announcements:
- Halo Wars (an RTS set in Halo Universe, exclusive to Xbox 360)
- Halo: Chronicles (being created by Wingnut Interactive, formed by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh)
- Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
- BioShock (exclusive to Xbox 360 and PC until a later PS3 version was released)
- Splinter Cell Double Agent Footage
- Splinter Cell Conviction will be exclusive to PC and Xbox 360.
- HD DVD Drive announcement will be $199 with remote and Peter Jackson’s King Kong movie
- Assassin’s Creed footage of actual gameplay
