Microsoft delivered two hours of first party and third party announcements on a special edition of Inside Xbox this morning.
Whilst there weren’t any out of this world new game announcements, there were a lot of updates to existing Xbox services, the Xbox brand as well as first party and third party content updates.

THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM X018
- Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment have both been acquired by Microsoft Studios bringing their in-house studio total to 13.
- Crackdown 3 is finally launching on February 15th and will come to Xbox Game Pass
- PUBG, Thief of Thieves, Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3,Thomas Was Alone, includes Aftercharge, Supermarket Shriek, Mutant Year Zero, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, and Secret Neighbor are all coming to Xbox Game Pass
- Xbox Game Pass is getting a brand new app for smartphones which will allow you to browse and download games to your console
- Forza Horizon 4’s first major update is called Fortune Island
- Mouse and Keyboard support is coming to Xbox One next week
- Sea of Thieves is getting a competitive mode called ‘The Arena’
- Void Bastards is a console launch exclusive title inspired by Bioshock and System Shock
- State of Decay 2 is getting a Zedhunter pack which will add a silent crossbow as well as a bunch of new melee weapons and gameplay updates
- Winnie the Pooh is coming to Kingdom Hearts III
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider is getting a major piece of DLC called Forge
- Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and LIGHTNING RETURNS: Final Fantasy and Civilization Revolution are coming to Xbox Backwards compatibility with 4K enhancements.
- Devil May Cry 5’s Void Mode will provide an extensive training ground for those willing to master their combat skills.
- Minecraft Marketplace is getting a new team that will bring new updates
