Rare has been relentless in their support for Sea of Thieves, offering a number of free updates to keep players engaged and their next update, the fifth since launch, is set to change the game in a pretty big way.
’The Arena’, releasing early next year, is an all-new competitive mode that pits rival crews against one another in fast-paced skirmishes. While putting their pirate skills to the ultimate test, teams will race to find the most shiny treasure in a fun mode that’s said to bring together all of Sea of Thieves’ most exciting elements.
’The Arena’ also introduces a new tavern as well as a new trading company, the Sea Dogs, which will gift players new opportunities to climb the ranks.
