Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order’s Oggdo Bogdo Is An Absolute Nightmare

So, a few weeks ago when I loaded up Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, I came across Oggdo Bogdo. If you’ve played the game, you’ll know exactly what’s about to be said.

It’s the most ridiculous difficulty spike, and you’re almost certain to die a number of times, but for some reason keep going back for more punishment, knowing full well that you’re probably not meant take on this boss battle at this particular time. He’s punishing and will kill you in 1-2 hits with his absolute bullshit tongue attack or his ridiculous charge attack that leaves you with absolutely no time to dodge and then attack him.

Now, that absolute best advice I can give to beating him is to wait until you’re further on in the planet, where you come to the roof of his came and can take out a very decent chuck of his health by landing on top of him with a jump attack, but you’ll have probably beaten him long before you knew this was a possibility.

I really enjoyed this tactic, which involves just standing in the door way and slicing at him (without him being able to reach you).

You can also force slow his tongue, and try and cut that, but it’s definitely challenging to pull off. The other best bit of advice, is learn when to get out of there. The best way to take him down is to chip away at his health in small bits, rather than staying in there too long and getting greedy. It’ll definitely test your patience (and enjoy those long load times when you die).

It was actually one of the most memorable parts of the game for me, and let me know that I was in for a tough slog along the way.
