Yoshinori Kitase Gives Thoughts On Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Director Yoshinori Kitase spoke with Eurogamer about a possible Final Fantasy VII remake, the director had one simple thought to share about this, “You must believe me when I say it would take a lot to happen”. Obviously, we have already heard this answer before, but of course, talk of a possible Final Fantasy VII remake will not cease because of this. Personally, I’d rather a Final Fantasy VIII remake.

By now, we all should be aware of how sought after this idea is. Final Fantasy VII is one of Square’s most recognizable titles of all time, and it’s no surprise that many people what the game to be remade with beautiful new current generation graphics. It’s easy to see that the classic RPG has not aged well in terms of it’s visuals, being the first Final Fantasy to have full 3D graphics on a brand new platform, Squaresoft at the time was delving into unknown territory.
