Destiny 2 Will Be Released This Year

Activision has confirmed at a shareholder meeting that the first fully fledged sequel to popular online shooter, Destiny will release in 2017.

Not much is known about the game except for the fact that they revealed that it will broaden the franchise’s global reach with follow-on content (DLC and expansions).

Destiny 1 had platform exclusive content with PlayStation so it’ll be interesting to see if Activision follow suit with Destiny 2.

It’s expected that the game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s unclear whether it will release on Nintendo Switch although it’s unlikely due to the always online nature of the franchise.

It’s possible that we’ll see an E3 reveal in June leading up to a holiday release.
