With the arrival of EA’s earnings report for the third quarter of 2018’s fiscal year, it’s been revealed that they’re hard at work on delivering a new game in the Need For Speed franchise, as well as a game in the Plants vs. Zombies series.
“Looking forward,” says COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen,”we’re delighted to launch Anthem, our new IP, to grow Apex Legends and related Titanfall experiences, to deliver new Plants vs. Zombies and Need for Speed titles, and to add Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to our sports titles in the fall.”
So in confirming that these games are, in fact, coming, he’s reaffirmed the fact that we’re going to be seeing Respawn’s Star Wars title, Jedi: Fallen Order, release this year to complement the rest of EA’s annual catalogue.
