Overnight, the Pokemon Company has announced the Celebrations collection for the Pokemon trading card game - the much-anticipated set that celebrates Pokemon's 25th anniversary. The set comes as nine different products designed to celebrate "beloved characters from the Pokemon franchise". The Celebrations sets begin hitting stores from October 8th, 2021. There are 45 cards in the main Celebration set which feature newer Pokemon with mechanics returning from previous sets like Dark Pokemon, Delta Species, and Star Levels. There's even a 25 card subset that features remakes of old cards - including the infamous and well sought after base set Charizard card.
