Not long after showing off seven-odd minutes of new open-world gameplay footage, IGN is back with another six minutes of Sonic Frontiers, this time showing off the game’s combat.
The footage shows Sonic squaring off against a few different types of machines that are roaming the game’s expansive environments, using different attacks and combos as well as some mechanics we’ve seen in the puzzle-solving bits in the last video to expose weak points.
Probably the most interesting thing we’ve seen out of the game to date comes towards the end of the video where we see Sonic facing down a huge, robotic enemy and using his traversal skills to take it down bit by bit.
