Sonic Frontiers is set to become the first open world Sonic game, and we’ve got our first proper look at the game courtesy of IGN with seven minutes of gameplay shown off.
The gameplay shows off Sonic pulling off a number of familiar techniques and some new one too, but I’d be lying if I said that it didn’t feel like something was missing.
The game is set to release later this year for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
