Lance Reddick, a film, TV and video game star noted for his roles in The Wire, Fringe and the John Wick films, has passed away at age 60. He best known amongst gamers as Destiny’s Commander Zavala and the Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn/Horizon Forbidden West.
Reddick reportedly died “suddenly” and of natural causes, his body found in his California home. He was in the midst of a press tour for the film for John Wick 4, which releases in theatres next week.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Reddick earned a music degree from the University of Rochester and a Master of Fine Arts from Yale, and began his television career in 1996.
